I was Elizabeth Roberts now Peacock. I am looking for members of my fathers family . He was born in Bedford on 26/08/1912.in Duncan Street. Had a cousin named Freddy married to Eileen. There were two sons Andrew & John. We had a great Aunt called Hilda she ran a ladies lingerie shop in Midland road, she owned cottages in Biddenham Beds. Her brother was Frank Roberts he was my grandfather. My father was Ronald Frank Roberts, he attended the boys modern school. married Vera Andrews of Ellis road they married at St Cuthberts church on 26/11/ 1940/41. We lived at 45 Devon Road until 1960 before moving to the south of England |
