Once again I am trying to help my friend to find her birth family. She was born in Sept 1941 and called Brenda Fitton, her mother was Elizabeth Fitton and we have been led to believe she came from the Manchester area, she worked as a Rainproof clothing Passer. My friend was born at the home of Emily Ball in Trent Vale, Stoke on Trent and we wonder if anyone connected with this family name could give us any information. Emily Ball registered the child 5 days after birth. My friend was adopted at 8weeks into the Stoddard family so perhaps anyone connected to this name could also help. Or anyone who knew of an Elizabeth Fitton in 1941, we do not have her date of birth which is why it is difficult to trace her. Thank you for any help |
