I am trying to find information about my grandmother Elizabeth Thomas. She was born in Rowton in Cheshire c1875, according to the census. In 1901she was living in Urmston, Manchester with her sister Maria Boughey, wife of Charles Joseph Boughey and her nieces Constance and Elsie. Elizabeth had four sons with my grandfather Frederick John Hollins. On Maria's birth cerificate it gave her parent's names as George Thomas and Mary Thomas, nee Smith and her place of birth as Marlston cum Lache, although it says Saltney on the census. Elizabeth and Maria may have had a brother Joseph, born c1870. |
