Hilda Moore was born 27 September 1893 in Stanton,Suffolk she married 19 August 1915 in Wandsworth Reg Office to a Charles York.Charles was serving in the East Kent Reg and Hilda and her aunt and maybe other sisters were working as servants around the Wandsworth area.Hilda gave birth to four children who eventually went to Oz on the child migration scheme I know what happened to them .Charles York I have found his death but have never been able to trace what happened to Hilda.The Moores and Clarkes Hildas mothers name came from Stanton Suffolk or areas around about.If you are a Clarke or Moore from around those areas and think you can help please contact.One scrap of info found in an old letter was that Hilda was seen presumably London area in about 1960..Gina |
