Help! I'm trying to find any descendents of William Henry Harris b.1872 London married to Annie Ryan b.1876 Ireland. They were married in 1894 Shoreditch and had 4 sons William, Charles, Victor, John and 1 daughter Rose. The only information I have is that Rose died when she was about 5 and my g.grandparents split up forcing my g.gran to put the boys into a home. My grandad William who was the eldest ran away and when my g.parents got back together they found that the other 3 boys had been sent to Canada. Charles and Victor (known as Mick) did eventually come back to England and John married the farmer's daughter on who's farm he went to work. My mum remembers Uncle Mick and that his wifes name was Maggie Doyle, he also had a daughter called Rene and a son Mick who we think may still live in London. We would dearly love to find anyone descended from my great uncles especially the Canadian side of the family so any information would be gratefully received. Jill |
