EDWARD FRANCIS WOOD born c. 1818, whereabouts not known. -- Or any of his family or descendants. Married a Mary Mash in 1838 at Parish Church Islington and on 31.March 1839 a daughter Mary Ann Frances Wood was born address given as 147 Goswell Street, Islington/Clerkenwell, Registration district St.James Clerkenwell. Don't know if there were any more children. On the Marriage Certificate Edward Francis Woods address is given as Goswell Street, occupation Wheelwright and his fathers name is also Edward Wood, and his occupation is given as Contractor. I have also a Death Certificate for an Edward Francis Wood dated 25.3.1870 age given as 51, address 58 Marsham Street Westminster, occupation General Dealer, informant S Wood. I don't know if this is the same Edward Francis or not as I am unable to locate Census entries for him down the years and only find the daughter on the 1861 Census living and working with relatives of her mothers. Haven't any other info at all. Would be very grateful for any information or tips on where to look next. Hoping someone has an E.F.Wood in their line. Many thanks N |
