I was wondering if anyone out there may help me??? On the site 'curiousfox' there is a message regarding the surnames of OLIVER and BROWN....(I was unaware of the maiden name of Hannah up until now...) Joseph OLIVER b:1836 (shoemaker by proffesion) born-Darlington-Durham. married Hannah BROWN b:1838. born-Hartlepool-Durham. This sounds like my G G Grandfathers brother. There is a mass of messages on this site...and I do not think my eye sight would survive reading them all to find out if a similar search is amongst them. Does the above sound at all familiar to anyone??? Regards and thanks in advance -Steve Campbell. |
