HI, I am trying to find out any information about my Great Grandfather, William Henry Taylor. He was born about 1882 in Doncaster, Yorkshire. He was married twice. All I know about his first marriage is that he had 2 children (possibly boys). He then married my great grandmother, Muriel May Shirley, but I can find no trace of their marriage. They had 2 childred, Allenby Victor and Vida May. William, and possibly his first 2 children, left England for the USA in approx. 1923. I believe he went to Pennsylvania. I can find no trace him after the 1901 cencus. I have searched the passenger lists, but do not have any exact details of when he sailed or where from or to. Any information would be welcome. Thank you. |
