Trying to find Moore

I am trying to find anyone related to my father Leonard Andrew Patrick Moore. He was born in 1950 and had a younger brother (Michael) and an older sister (Margaret?). The family came to Edinburgh (from Ireland?) before he was born. When the family arrived they lived in Inverleith Row. Both Michael and my dad where placed in a childrens home in Corstorphine. My dad was later fostered by a lady who worked there called Jane McIntyre. I know Michael came to vist my father on numerous ocassions until he joined the Army. We have seen letters from both the family in Ireland and Michael. Both have written to Social Services to find my father. Unfortunately none of these letters have any adresses on them. We know that my fathers mother has passed on now (Ellen Mary). She lived in Pitt Street in Leith in the 1960's? As far as I know his father was a Seargent in the Pay Corps (Patrick Joseph). We have no idea where he is now. If anyone has any information, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |
