Trying to find any info' on my grand-father's family.His name was MATTHEW MAJOR BELL,born in 1878.His father's name was THOMAS BELL,dates unknown.Matthew was a widower when he married my gran,JENNIE WHITTAKER.They had 8 children,THOMAS,EMILY,JENNY,GEORGE,FREDERICK,MARGERET(PEGGY)MATTHEW and ELSIE.Matthew and Jenny settled in Middlesbrough.Most of their children were registered under the name of WHITTAKER.Have lost contact with the few cousins who I knew,but know there's lots more out there who may be able to help,or if you know of any of the above mentioned people,please contact me.Regards,Joan |
