Trying to find Albert James Davis, born 1860-1875 believed London area. Married a Julia (surname not known) born 1854 died 1926. She was from Andover. Albert was a butler and Julia a cook, they worked usually at the same place of employment, one of which was in Barton Stacey, Hants. Believed to have worked for Christs Hospital Bluecoats School, as he received a pension from them. Whilst living in London during WW2, he was bombed out and relocated to South Wales, where he died around 1944. Albert and Julia has several children (little known of them) but one, Rose Sophia Emily (surname not known) was my grandmother, who died aged 64 in Harlow, Essex. I believe that some of Rose's ancestors were alchemists. Any help appreciated, as this line of my tree cannot extend any further until Albert's details are found. Note: Rose died in 1964. |
