Member Since: July 2006 Posts: 13 Send Message	Mary Ellen Brown Lived in Runcorn at 24 Crescent Row in the early 1900's. Had a baby in 1920 and named her Sarah Jane Sutton Brown(my mother). The father was George Ernest Sutton(1876-1954) of Thorne, Yorkshire. Mary Ellen may have had a business involving barges or something to do with the river. George Ernest was a waterman by occupation. On my mothers birth certificate Mary Ellen Brown was formerly Sutton.
