They were Joseph Darling bap.Farnborough 1786 of Wantage 1881 master dyer he married Mary ? b. Compton c. 1788 of Wantage 1851. They had three children, Jane b. Newbury c.1821, Isaac Darling b. Newbury c.1823 dyer married Elizabeth Kirby b Bensington c 1827, mar. Reading 1846, daughter of Henry Kirby, innkeeper Richard Darling b Newbury c.1830.
