h my name is brenda,i was born in leeds,im trying to find my grandad,i never knew him because he left my grandmother ,they had 3 boys and she brought them up on her own in leeds,she was a catholic,not sure of grandad,they were married in liecester 1908.there names were marie louise dunnett,his george henry taylor.i think he went to bradford to live and i believe he was one of the first to drive the hackney taxis,i dont know if he ever met up with someone else and had a family,dont even know if they were divorced,knowing how strict a catholic my grandmother was i dont think she would of agreed, she never remarried because of her strict beleifs,please not a lot to go on can anyone help me,i have a copy of dads birth certificate and found on a lieceser site i think there marriage,i was told he came from scotland but im not sure,my grandmother was wearing a kilt on a photograph,so im not sure where she was born either.any morsel much appreciated brenda |
