Hi, My name is Carol. My Grand-father was william james ward and born 1889 in southampton His parents were Richard and Emily Ward (nee Macey) Richards parents were William Ward and Ann (nee Richards) I believe William died 1860. But his wife Ann was not on the death cert. It was Ann Pettiford. Ann Ward then was a widow and was head of house on the 1861 cencus. Their children were Charlotte Louisa and Richard my great grand-father. In 1871 cencus Ann Ward had re-married a James Witcher. They had Annie E. , Eliza E., and Emma Witcher. Is any-one researching these Wards. Carol |
