My gr great grandfather was Ralph Harrison, born August 1838 in Sunderland. He was a Master Mariner. He married my gr great grandmother Elizabeth Hardy in 1860 and they lived in Bishopwearmouth. They had 8 children one being my great grandfather John Thomas, born 1871. Ralph's father was also called Ralph. Ralph snr was a tailor and by all accounts had died before Ralph jnr was born. I think Ralph snr was married to Margaret Sanderson (in 1836). They had another son called John, born 1836/7. Does this sound familiar to anyone. If so, I would love to hear from you. |
