	My 2g-grandfather was William Allen Hall, sometimes known as William John Hall, b1829, Exeter Devon. He was a Hat manufacturer. I cannot find any info regarding his parentage, other than on his marriage cert his father was given as John Barrows Hall, also a hat manufacturer. William lived and worked firstly in Wigan, and then later in Runcorn in Cheshire. I can find no trace of him or his second wife Sarah after the 1871 census. I would love to find out a bit more about where he came from, and where he went to. Thank you, Liz Lewis
