Hi, Im trying to find information on my grandfather Harold Joseph BROWN. He died before i was born, all i know is that he may have been born around the Bootle area of Liverpool in June 1920. From what i have heard from family members is that he was orphaned when he was 4 and brought up by his Aunt. I dont have any information on her at all. He did marry an Agnes Katherine(My granny) Taylor in August 1951 in Surrey, England and had 2 children Ian, my father and Derek, my uncle. I have spoken to them all and they know very little about him, except that he was a merchant seaman and worked on the Cunard White star ships. If anyone knows of a family chain of BROWNS in Liverpool, who may recognise the name, please get in touch as i cannot continue the Brown history. |
