Hi, Im trying to find my dad, James Walker. d.o.b. 8,03.31? I believe that he was born in Derbyshire, He was a coal miner somewhere in Derbyshire. I think he have 3 brothers and no sister. One of the brothers is Tommy Walker who married to Joan and they have 2 children. Dad is the youngest. I dont know the names of my grandparents. His dad was a miner in Derbyshire and was killed among 100 miners when dad and his brothers were very young. They were orphaned as their mum died of something ( I think it was heartbroken of losing her husband). They were brought up by my greataunt Edith Wild in Clowne, Derbyshire/South Yorkshire, Dad married to my mum Mary Artley in Doncaster. later divorced. I was told by Great Aunt Edith that I have 2 half brothers, their names - unknown. They are between 40 and 48 years old. Edith died in 1971/2. I haven't seen dad for 50 years and would love to meet my dad and my half brothers for the first time. Any relation to me? Thanks |
