Family Bible I have acquired a small bible with the following names and dates in the front cover: Henry Ward born Aug 27th 1849; Ann Ward born July 4th 1845; Mary Ann Ward born Feb 20th 1868; Henry Ward born Aug 11th 1869; Charles Ward born Feb the 5 1873; Florence liley Ward born augst the 30 1876 and another name which looks like F Laurence South or Louth and the numbers 37 320 4. On the inside of the back cover is the following, quoted exactly: 'dont steal this book for fear of shame for in it you will see the howners name' Annie Lefly 1881. If there is anyone who feels that this may be their family I would be happy to pass the bible on for the cost of postage. Margaret |
