Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	Walter Henry Baker I am currently trying to find Walter Henry Baker born c1870. I don't know a great deal except that he fought in South Africa at the turn of the last century where he got the nickname Jiggy. He married Ada Loweth from Raunds Northamptonshire and had a number of children - Walter Reginald (1900), Ada (1904 I think), Doris 1906, Phylis. Ada is said to have died quite young and Walter Henry 'got together' with another lady and had some more children although I don't know anything about them. Walter & Ada got married in Raunds in 1902 and his father was called Charles Baker. Any help gratefully received. Hannah

Member Since: November 2007 Posts: 2 Send Message	Hi Hannah, I do recall some of my late husband family use to work in South Africa. And he was married twice. I wish i would like help you more as one of the son was Harry Jack Baker.
