JOHN JAMES MOORE (b 1854/5 near Peel, Isle of Man) CHARLOTE ELLEN MOORE (nee NOWELL) (b1869, Bath) ELSIE ANNIE MOORE (b 18/7/1896, Borough Road, London) HAS ANYONE GOT THESE PEOPLE IN THEIR TREE? John James Moore married i) Ann Kewish (b 1853 Isle of Man). They had a son - John J.Moore (b 1880) and lived in Liverpool in 1881. Ann died 1883. John James Moore married ii) Charlotte Ellen Nowell in April 1888 when he was in the Church Army in Bath. By 1891 they were in Greenwich (London) with John being a London City Missionary. A child was born - Elsie Annie Moore From then on we lose John James Moore - no trace of death or emigrating. In 1901 Charlotte Ellen Moore is a housemaid and Elsie Annie Moore is in a 'little girls home' in Bath. By October 1905 Charlotte Ellen is living in Bedminster, Bristol and my father in law - REGINALD LIONAL WALLACE MOORE is born. His father is stated as JOHN WALTER VICTOR MOORE (marine engineer). |
