trying to find any information about my grandfathers family. information i have is that my grandad was born in yeovil in 1912. he moved to weymouth with his father - james moore - occupation gas operator - and stepmother. My grandfather william james moore - known as jack - left home at the age of 14 and cycled to london. he settled in Hounslow in london and met and married my grandmother Edith Vera Miles, married in 1939. they moved to Fulham, London. My grandfather was as Bakers roundsman, his hobby was cycling. He had a younger sister, name unknown at the moment. she got married and had children, it is thought that she moved to Slough and had 3 children. any information would be great. |
