Member Since: December 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	JOHNSON, ARTHUR JAMES. family from COUNTY DURHAM & LIVERPOOL. Went to Ireland. Arthur born 1901 in IRELAND Returned to England around 1916. Had a number of siblings. Eva, Blanche, Victor, Robert, , Mark, Henry. Albert...? His father was HENRY (ALBERT?) JOHNSON married toLUCY ELIZABETH ROBINSON. HENRY was a tailor's Cutter. LUCY JOHNSON died at her son ALBERT'S house in WOODFIELD ROAD BIRMINGHAM on 2nd June 1943 aged 70 years. ARTHUR or JOHN as he was known was a driver in the Army during the war. He and his brothers bought a supply building in NOTTINGHAM and turned it into a private club. HE MARRIED ETHEL MAY POWELL nee WORMOLD a widow in 1928 had three children. Divorced and Married Olive ALLCHIN in 1947. Had a daughter and later another in Australia.Moved to Australia in 1949. ARTHUR (JOHNNY) DIED BRISBANE AUSTRALIA I WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATIVE TO HAVE CONTACT OR ANY INFORMATION ON ANY MEMBER OF MY FAMILY FROM ANY GENERATION. THANK YOU, KIND REGARDS, SUSAN ANNE.
