We're trying to find any living relatives on my husbands late mother's DAVIS side in Wales as he must have a number of second cousins - just that we're not in touch with any of them! His mother was born Beatrice Kathleen DAVIS at Bargoed, Glamorgan in 1922. Her parents were Frederick Henry DAVIS (born Tredegar 1884) and Beatrice Caroline Parfitt, married 1909. FH Davis' parents were James Ambrose DAVIS (born Tredegar 1858) and Hannah Maria Wiltshire, married 1883. James and Hannah had at least 8 children: Frederick Henry (born 1884) as above Helen Maria (c1886) Ernest Albert (c1888) married Olive, 2 children Sybil, George Edwin Morgan (c1890) James Ivor (c1892) married ?, >3 children inc Kenneth, Beryl, Mabel Alfred Wiltshire (c1894) Gladys Maud (c1897) married Herbert, ?1 child Desmond Gertrude Annie (c1899) Gertie 'Poplar' married Charles Jones, 2 children Margaret & ?Peter Marcia |
