Member Since: October 2005 Posts: 11 Send Message	JAMES BROWN came from Ireland mid 1800s to England joined the army then went onto work as a footman at Buckingham Palace the family say that BROWN was not his real name and that he lied about his age to join the army. He married MARTHA possibly GILESPIE from Scotland?? The childrten were FRANCES b c1878,JAMES b c1880, GERTRUDE b c1882, LILLIAN LUCY b 31 Dec 1884 London,LAURA b c1886, ETHEL and possibly 5 other children. Has anyone got any information on these BROWNS Thanks Mike
