Am trying to find any information about my great-grandfather, WILLIAM THOMAS. He married MARY MARGARET WILLIAMS (she was born in Penlline on 16/11/1871 and died in St Hilary on 24/11/1952) and had 4 children: John 1894, William 1896, Kate 1898 and David 1900 (my grandfather) They lived in the Aberthin/Cowbridge area of Glamorgan. William was a farmer, in a small way, and fought in the Boer war with the Glamorgan Yeomanry and survived but I can find no record of him after this. Afraid I don't know his date or place of birth. Anyone have him in their tree?? Thanks. |
