Hello fellow searchers i have just started off with my familiesancestry and i am seeking help from anyone who may be able to help i am trying to seek out my mums family .The only information that i have is that my mum was born on the 17th of may 1905 in Hastings Sussex U.K.her father was a HAROLD BENNETT who owned a Greengrocers shop in Hastings and i believe her mothers surname was Gritten, In my early years i can remember going to places visiting relatives in Goudhurst areas.Welling Bexleyheath some address's i remember Apple Avenue Welling Kent Rustic Avenue also in welling kent. I appreciate that i can obtain certificates i hav purchased four and i am awaiting mums but i wrote on this site two weeks ago for help with my maternal grans details and the response was overwhelming the most helpful part is to get the numbers for the GRO AND TO PAY£7 INSTEADof£11-50 so any help will be very much appreciated Other names in my tree if any one comes across any of them please are POLLIT/POLLITT/NORMAN/BENNETT/GRITTEN.Ithank you for your help and Best Wishes To You ALL Bruce Francis Pollit |
