DANIEL TAYLOR Daniel Taylor was born in East Donyland (Rowhedge ) about 1822. He was an oysterman and married Maria and the his second wife Jane Webb. He was my great great grandfather. According to records his father was also Daniel. This however is all that I have. The elder Daniel should have been in East Donyland in 1822 at his son's birth. When was the elder Daniel born? Where was he born? He too was supposed to have been associated with Oysters on the River Colne? He was a Freeman of the City of Colchester, so I believe. Any information would be much appreciated!!
