I am looking for anyone who may be related to my maternal grandfather, William Wright. He was born sometime in the 19th century, last known address is School Lane, Longton, Stoke on Trent and he was a Potter's Printer. He also played the piano in cinemas for the background music to the silent films. He married an Irish lady, Katherine or Catherine Lynch, her family emigrated to the US. I understand my grandmother's family came to England during the potato famine in Ireland. William and Katherine/Catherine had two children, a son also called William and a daughter (my mother) called May. |
