His first wife died in childbirth 1907c when she gave birth to a daughter edith martha who was then adopted by a friends of franks edith is my maternal grandmother. Frank then went on to marry and had a further 4 or 5 children. They all lived in manchester poss higher openshaw/gorton area. My mum remembers going to grandad franks so I dont think it was a big family secret
