Trying to find Lewis

I am trying to research into one of the LEWIS families of Llanfairfechan in North Wales. Richard Lewis (born c1846) and his wife Elizabeth/Ann Lewis (born c 1852) lived, at one stage, in the Chapel House next to the Baptist Chapel in Llanfairfechan. They had a number of children in age order (oldest first) - Elizabeth Ellen, Mary Catherine, John, Richard, Margaret, Alice (?), Ellen, Owen and Esther. Owen was quite a famous person when he was a little older as apparently he was on the front cover of a military magazine as he was in something like the Household Cavalry. I understand that a lot of the family lived in Llanfairfechan for quite a wile and I'd love to find if these people mean anything to anyone and may in fact be some of your ancestors! If so, I'd love to hear from you. |
