I am trying to find my grand mothers family, her great grandmother was VIOLET WALKER born 1877 but I dont know the husband, they had at least six children:- Amos, Jack, Mariah, Alice, Rhoda and NATHANIEL WALKER born 1906 who married VIOLET born 1909 and they had 8 children:- Margaret born 1932, Charlie, Sammy, Ken, Shirley, Betty, Alice and Ollie. Violet was a Gypsie and that is why I am having a problem but I know she is buried in Panteg Cemtery, Pontypool with her son Nathaniel. Can anyone help with either information on my family or how to trace the gypsie line? I think they might have changed surnames during the war (a family member thinks so). At one stage they were living in the Forest of Dean area. Can anyone help? Sharon |
