Christine Evans/Davies my father George Raymond Evans his twin sister Pat, brothers Ernest and Percy from Glais, I am trying to build my family tree but don't know my grandparents names, my grandmother died when my father was 3, so that would be about 1926/7. They moved from Glais to Penarth about 1926 my grandfathers parents names not known lived in Westbourne Road Penarth, and daughters Emily and Sarah died in the early 1960's. My grandfather was a carpenter and built a bungalow in Glais then sold it to move to Penarth. I think my grandfathers name was William and was a bit of an inventor I have been told. He lived in Grove Place. Penarth. There was or is a cousin of my fathers who is George who had a pig farm on the top of the mountain in Glais. |
