I'm trying to find more about my Grandfather - John Frederick Martin.. I believe he was the youngest of thirteen and the only boy. He was born in 1904 possibly in London or Norfolk. I don't have a name for his parents but it appears his father was a furrier in Brixton at one time. His father was in his late seventies/early eighties when my grandfather was born. He had sisters called Nancy, Gladys and Dorothy. He went onto work with Cable and Wireless and had two daughters |
