I am trying to find my father Norman Thomas. His marriage to my mum broke down when I was a few months old, so information is limited. I saw him briefly once on his mothers farm. His name is Norman 'George' Thomas. His mum was Ivy and I belive his dad was called Norman or George Leslie Thomas. His mum had a farm somewhere on the outskirts of Liverpool and I remember, on the one time I went to see her, there were lots of horses. Ivy used to adopt children and is believed to have adopted over a hundred in her time (this may be exagerrated, I don't know). My dad was a roofer by trade, and he met my mum when he was late teens-early twenties. He was working at a stables near Bootle or Bolton(I think) when he and my mum Susan met. They had two daughters, one born in April 1971 (mysister) and myself born in September 1972. For a short time they lived in Huyton, in Liverpool, before the marriage broke down. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If it does, please get in touch. Thanks |
