my late grandfather was arthur frederick turner or it may of been frederick arthur turner. born around 1920? he married his first wife name unknown we think in sommerset and we know he had a daughter named jaqueline, she may be in her 50s 60s now. after a bad seperation jaquelines mother may have moved (area unknown) and fred didnt have anymore contact. he lived in middleton manchester untill he died. i vagely remember a lady trying to contact him when i was about 13 named jaqueline who was trying to trace her birth father. if you know of a jaqueline turner or any of her relatives, please get in touch. fred went on to marry monica hindley born in 1922 and they had 6 children, ann patricia another jaqueline and my mum chistina, micheal and alan. if it rings any bells, grandad served in the war and was always telling the tale of his scar where he had been shot in the head, but because he was talking the bullet skimmed his scalp and was unhurt, really hope there is someone to help, id love to get in touch with my aunty and cousins who i have never met claire xx |
