I'm trying to find information on the father of my grandmother Olive Hall, born 1924 illegitimately to Ethel Hall in Hull. The only information I have is that Ethel was a domestic servant in a house apparently on Charles Street in Hull at the time she became pregnant (apparently to the son of the man who owned the house! - wondeful old stories aren't they!). There is no mention of my great grandfather anywhere I can see and any information would be gratefully received as i am missing a whole branch from my family tree so early in that lines research. Ethel Hall married around the time my grandma was 10 and had a family with a man whos surname was Day. Please help i am stuck! Thanks dawn |
