Regarding Walter see below; In hopes of finding Family in the UK, Siblings of Walter and Arthur, Males who remained in England, two sons of these parents below listed. Frank, John, and Owen ( My Father ) along with Nora went to the United States. My Father is the only one who had male offspring (3). This Generation starts with these two Parents. Owen Wood Born; August 22, 1860 Shaw Hall Bank England Died January 1918 Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford Ma.,Section 10 lot# Sarah (Sally) Sykes May 24, 1863 February 1918 Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford Ma.,Section 10 lot#658 Children Are; ( in order of birth.) Walter Wood Born September 05, 1886 Arthur Wood May 06, 1888 Frank Wood December 13, 1889 Annie Wood February 01, 1892 Made contact with her children. Olive Wood December 10, 1893 John ( Jack) Wood March 17, 1897 Nora Wood January 09, 1900 Went to the US Owen Wood February 02, 1902 Went to the US Phyllis Wood July 27, 1905 Frank had no children. Went to US John had no children. Went to US Owen, my father, had three male children. Went to the US The two males who remained in the UK where Walter, and Arthur. We traced Walter to Huddersfield then lost him there. (1900) poss, railway worker We traced Arthur to Oldham ( 1937-38 ) and have a letter written by him stating among other things, his wife Nellie had a nervous breakdown, a house fire .He was replying to my father about the birth of his first son.
