Trying to find any relatives or friends of geoffrey walker. (I believe his father originated from Sheffield and moved to Pilsley near Chesterfield after being bombed out during the 2nd w.w.) He was in the navy in 1948 and married Agnes Rita Sweeney from Belfast, he later worked as a miner in the Chesterfield area. He may have moved to Devon/Paignton in the late 50's early 60's. I believe that he is now deceased and that his wife remarried a policeman, he had a daughter called Melanie? I would be really grateful if anyone could help in my search, goodluck with yours and thanks. |
