Trying to find info on two of the offspring of William Harrison(b 1770, Great Glen, Leics) and his second wife Martha Susannah Elizabeth Frisby (b1783, Tugby, Leics), married in 1807. SUSANNAH(b1817) m. DANIEL THOMASSON ROWSON in 1855 in Tugby, he died prior to 1861, no issue from marriage BUT her nephew JOHN THOMASSON HARRISON (son of her brother THOMAS who m. Elizabeth Humphrey Ray in 1842) somehow added the additional surname of ROWSON to his name prior to his m. to SOPHIA HARDY in 1879 in London. John was a stockbroker, he died at age 33 and had 3 daughters. Can anyone out there shed any light on any of these names especially Daniel, there may be a connection to Fernilee in Derbyshire. |
