Hello everyone, Searching for descendants of MARY JANE EDWARDS born 1898 Northumberland,England(possibly Backworth)mother SARAH EDWARDS who married MATTHEW STRONG 1900 in Northumberland,and Mary Jane may then have been called by the surname of Strong.Mary Jane worked as a nanny/nursemaid to a family who emmigrated to Canada and she went with them,later marrying a Danish farmer who had also emmigrated to Canada.They had at least two children,the daughter was possibly called 'Audrey'.She kept in touch with her sister Phoebe(my grand mother)and Phoebe's daughter(my mum)during the second world war,sending them parcels from Canada.Unfortunately,contact was lost at some stage,and I would love to put Mary Jane's family in touch with my elderly mum,as my mum was an only child and has very few relatives that she knows of.Many thanks for any info anyone can give me,I will reply to all emails that I get.
