Trying to find Evans

Starting on the task of tracing my family tree so any help anyone can give to this novice would be greatly appreciated. My father Ishamael Evans (always known as Frank) born 1 Sept 1915 in Staffordshire (died Jan 1991). He had an older brother Abraham (died 1960s) and an older sister Elisabeth (who died approx age 13). His father (my GF) was also Ishmael Evans, born October 1882 - again I think in Staffordshire) and died Feb 1945- and married Elisabeth (nee Kent) His father (my GGF) was Abraham Evans - don't have a date/place of birth. I believe that the family originally came from Wales (my father was sent to live with relatives in Wales in his early childhood when his mother died) but I don't know where/when. Do these details tie in with any of your histories? Many thanks Bronwyn |
