Looking for any information regarding any Cooks from South Wales around 1900 particularly ELIZABETH/BESSIE/BETTY. Elizabeth was born in 1909 and married George COLLARD in 1939. The Marriage certificate states that her Father was CHARLES COOK, a Coal Miner and was still alive in 1939. There are strong links to Trethomas and Caerfili areas. She had around 13 brothers and sisters - some of which even she could not remember! These include STEVEN, LAURA IVY (Who is named as a witness to her marriage)and WINNIFRED. Unfortunately i cannot find any birth records under these names (or under COOKE) Any information greatly recieved :) |
