I am looking for any ancestors of my husband. His mother was born alice martin in 1899. Her father was William Martin born 1855. According to the 1901 census his occupation was canal boatman and he was born in Leigh Lancashire. He was married to Lillie who was born 1861 in Leigh Lancs. The rest of the family according to 1901 census as follows. William Martin age 17 born Runcorn Boatman Thomas Martin age 12 born Liverpool Lissie Martin age 10 born Runcorn Mary Martin age 8 born Runcorn. At this time they were living at 36 Gilbert Street Runcorn. Any info on who they married and when thery died or if they had any children would be appreciated. |
