My Name is Clifford Anthony Rawling. I am searching for any information on a Paternal Aunt, whom I never knew, Gladys May Johnson, nee Rawling. Gladys May Rawling, or Rawlings, (the name has been spelt several ways over the years) was born on the 8th of August 1914 at Marton cum Moxby, North Yorks. Parents were John Edward Rawlings and Elizabeth Ann Rawling, formerly Brough. Gladys married a Frederick James Johnson of Kirky Wharfe Yorkshire. They married in Stillington North Yorks on the 12th January 1937. Witnesses at this marriage were my Uncle, Ernest Rawling, and a Mary Ann Clack. I did not know of this Aunts existance untill quite recently and only found out about her whilst researching my family tree. I don't know if she is still alive or if there have been any children from this marriage. Any information from ANYONE at all, especially a relative would be very much appreciated. Thank you in anticipation. |
