I am trying to trace my grandfather, HARRY SCOTT (possibly Henry or Harold) who lived in or around Broughton Street, Battersea in about 1912. I can find no trace of him. My father, Harry Robert Scott, was born in St Philips Street, Battersea in 1912 and his birth certificate says he is the son of Harry Scott, coal merchant's clerk and Harriet Alice Scott (formerly Powell) of St Philips Street, Battersea, I can find no official record of their marriage. My father as a small boy can faintly remember him, but thinks he dissapeared in about 1916. It's a real mystery and I hope someone can give me some clues. |
