Hilary, I might have info for you regarding Ethel Maud Davies. Her father was John, her mother was Alice. Her grandfather was Thomas. Don't know Ellen.

I am looking for any information on my grand mother Ethel Maud Davies. She was born in the Kensington area of Liverpool in 1898, her father's name was Thomas and her mother is thought to be Ellen nee Glossop. She married Robert Cecil Thorpe in 1918 at West Derby, Liverpool and had 3 daughters and a son.
My cousins and I would like to find any information at all on this elusive lady.
