COOK trying to find relatives of my Gt Grandad who was WILLIAM HENRY COOK born approx 1866/1868 ish in Chiswick Middx. he married Ellen Cook formerly Larner. In 1901 Census he was 44 and Ellen was 39. By 1901 they had 8 children: Helen Elsie Constance Cook dob 18.10.1883 Carnaby St Ldn William Henry Cook dob 01.02.1885 Fouberts St Ldn Harold Cook dob 20.09.1892 Southwark Stuart Reginald Cook (Gdad) dob 09.06.1890 Southwark Noel Norman Cook dob 25.12.1894 Southwark Percy Royal Cook dob 24.01.1897 Southwark Dorothy Sylvia Cook dob 26?.04.1899 Southwark Horace H Cook Age 12 in 1901 census - cannot find B.C. Father William Henry Cook (snr) worked for the London Salvage Corps, in Southwark Bridge Road, St. Saviour District, London Horace died on 1.11.1914 Age 26 in Ypres. Oxford &Bucks Light Infantry. Regiment No. 8321 Percy R Cook HMS Digby Harold E Cook - HMS Agamemnon (wounded in the Dardanelles) Stuart R Cook (Grandad) Royal Marines If anyone can help me further as I am a beginner, I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given. Also I would like to hear from any potential family members, as my father malcolm Stuart Cook (known as Stuart now) is now the only living person in this family and he is 76 and it would be great to find any long lost cousins he may have. Looking forward to hearing from anybody and it will give my dad a great boost. Helen Walker (nee Cook) I know my gr grandfather William Henry Cook and Ellen retired and was living in Richmond Road/Street in Southend on Sea on July 15th 1915 as there was a bit about the family in the local newspaper The Southend Standard on July 1915.
