I'm hoping that somebody may be able to help! I'm trying to trace my maternal GGrandmother Mary Jane Grainger (nee)Davis/es born c 1860 S.Wales. I don't know her husband's name. They emigrated to America (chicago) in the 1880's. As far as I know there were four daughters, Valerie, Marviner, Linda and Lily. My GGrandfather died while in America and my GGrandmother returned to Wales with her daughters in 1890's. Two of her daughters returned to and settled in America in New Jersey. My Grandmother was Lily Annie Liddell (nee) Grainger, lived in Gabalfa, Cardiff, she died in 1944 aged 52. thanks Marviner |
